The Final Round and Awards Ceremony of Sias University's 20th Debate Competition were held on April 8. The Competition was sponsored by the Communist Youth League and the Sias Chinese Debate Team. Executive President, Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, the head of the Communist Youth League, and the head of Huanyu Residential College attended the Finals and Ceremony. The three judges of the Finals were Jin Chao, instructor of the Chinese Debate Team from Sias' School of Law, Li Yi from the School of Journalism & Communication, and Wang Xue from the Communist Youth League.

Li Huafeng delivered a speech and thanked the leaders, guests, judges, and students who participated in the Competition. He also congratulated the Sias Debate Team for their achievements both at Sias and in competitions across China. He said that they had promoted a good academic attitude and climate among students that had successfully promoted Sias both in Henan and other parts of China.

The 20th Debate Competition at Sias began over a month ago, with teams from each residential college competing through preliminary rounds and the semi-finals. The teams from the Huanyu Residential College and Zhishan Residential College competed for first place, and the teams from Mingli Residential College and Zhiyuan Residential College contested the third place round.

After a close contest, the team from Huanyu Residential College won the 20th Debate Competition, with the team from Zhishan Residential College finishing as runners-up. The team from Mingli Residential College finished third, and the team from Zhiyuan Residential College won the "Spiritual Civilization Award" [Jin Shen Wen Ming Award].
