In 2018, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Sias University was granted the status of an independent private undergraduate university, ushering in a new era of development in the university's history.

The new Sias emblem was designed to reflect the continuing development of Sias, along with recognition of its history, students, and alumni.

The new emblem represents Sias' history ad culture, along with the reference to the year Sias was founded (1998). The Red Stars represent the work carried out in the field of education in the Central Plains in China. The red and blue abstract design in the shield represents Sias' colors as well as the educational philosophy and motto of Sias - "East meets West", "Integrating Knowledge and Practice". With this unique emblem, Sias seeks to be easily recognizable, while continuing to advocate development and reform in a new era for the university.

Sias University has the complete intellectual property rights and ownership of the emblem/logo shown below. No organization, unit, or individual can reproduce, tamper with, or use these without the official permission of Sias University (郑州西亚斯学). The university also reserves the right to pursue legal liability.
