The final round of Sias' 20th Campus Singing Competition, sponsored by the Student Union, was held on April 9. Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, attended the finals along with the head of the Communist Youth League, and heads of Zhixing, Boya, Boyi, and Huanyu Residential Colleges.

Representatives of the Student Unions of ZhongyuanUniversity of Technology, Zhengzhou Shengda University of Economics, Business & Management, Henan Institute of Engineering, and over 1,000 teachers and students from Sias University watched the final round of the competition. The judges of the finals included members of the Chinese Musicians' Association, the Director of Henan Popular Music Association, a judge in the 3rd season of "Sing! China" in the Henan Region, and judge at the 2019 season of The Voice China in the Henan region, Zhu Zhenghua; member of the Chinese Musicians' Association, member of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society, Director of the Henan Musicians' Association, and Director of the Henan Nationalities Orchestra Association, Wang Xue; winner of the Hunan Region of the Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition, and winner of the 6th Luohe City "Golden Flute Cup", and graduate student at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Li Yijie; CEO of Creative Weekend, Yao Zicheng; and the Deputy Director of Marketing of the Yuntaishan Scenic Area's Administration Bureau, Cheng Fangfang.

The contestants performed several songs as a part of their repertoire, interspersed by performances by dance troupes from Sias. After the competition, Zhu Zhenghua delivered a speech, encouraged the singers, and gave them constructive criticism and advice with regard to their performances.

The 20th Campus Singing Competition lasted for almost a month with preliminary, second, and final rounds. Throughout the preliminary round, managed by the Student Union, over 1,500 contestants took part over the course of four days. Over 100 students made it to the second round, with only 10 making it to the finals. The Campus Singing Competition has provided a platform for students who love music to showcase their talents in both performance and singing.
