In a preview of Sias University's 20th Anniversary Celebrations in May, the School of Music & Opera held a series of performances as well as a Mobilization Conference on the evening of April 17. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, along with Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Sias President, Chen Sikun, Vice President, Wu Hua, and the heads of the Administration Office, Academic Affairs Office, and School of Music & Opera, were present. Over 700 teachers and students attended the performances and conference.

At the show, the Dean of the School of Music & Opera, Sun Weiguo, said that during the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Sias, the School of Music & Opera would have 5 important performances which would showcase the teaching, growth, and talent at the School. The quality of the performances would reflect the development of Sias over the past 20 years and show theuniqueSias spirit.

Dr. Chen delivered the main speech at the mobilization conference. He thanked the teachers of the School of Music & Opera for their work towards the 20th anniversary celebrations. He said that Sias had placed great importance on the celebrations and the preparations for it, especially in the School of Music & Opera. He said that he hoped that the celebrations would be memorable and leave people with a special experience.
