The Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational & Adult Education at the Ministry of Education, Xie Li, visited Sias University on March 31. He was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the Teaching Materials Department at the Department of Vocational & Adult Education, Liu Jun, the Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Vocational Development, Ren Zhanying, Researcher at the Department of Higher Education in Henan's Department of Education, Qin Jianchen, the Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational & Adult Education, Shi Wensheng, and the Deputy Investigator at the Department of Development Planning, Xie Qiucai.

The delegation was met by Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Sias President, Chen Sikun, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Vice Principal, Wu Hua, as well as the heads of the Administration Office, Party Committee Office, Academic Affairs Office, and Admissions Office. The delegation was taken on a campus tour that included Sias' European Street, CUBA Training Facility, Chinese Garden, and Library.

During the visit, the Sias leadership introduced the delegation to the history, development, educational philosophy, enrollment plans, campus culture and activities, and student innovation and entrepreneurship. They also invited the delegation to attend Sias' 20th anniversary celebrations in May.

Deputy Director Xie Li spoke of his appreciation of Sias' East-meets-West educational philosophy and the campus culture. He said that Sias' internationalized vision and diverse cultural atmosphere provided students with a favorable environment for learning and success. He said that he hoped that Sias would make full use of its resources and continue to focus on the nurturing of talent and support for teachers, not only for teaching and educating students but also for research. He encouraged Sias University to continue to strive towards educational achievements, improve the quality of education, and contribute to the growth and development of education in China.
