On February 22 and 25, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, toured the Sias campus in detail to inspect the preparations for the second semester. The tour included visits to the departments in the administration building, academic schools, residential colleges, classrooms, laboratories, dormitories, the international student accommodations, university cafeterias, and ongoing construction projects. The inspection also included the logistics and security for returning students, food safety, and campus-wide construction progress.

Dr. Chen spoke with several staff members and workers to listen to their opinions and suggestions for the current and future development of Sias. He was accompanied by Executive President, Wang Jialin, and Vice President, Wu Hua.

Dr. Chen pointed out that 2019 marked the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Sias University. He said that Sias aimed to continue on its path of reforming and innovating both education and teaching. He also encouraged the faculty and staff of Sias to share in his sense of urgency and responsibility with regard to the reform and development of the university.
