In accordance with the Henan provincial government's directives with regard to accidents and safety in the province, as well as the requirements from the Henan Department of Education for potential accidents and safety on campuses, the leadership of Sias University inspected construction sites across the Sias campus on March 5. Sias President, Chen Sikun, and the heads of the relevant departments, such as the Administration Office, Supervision & Audit Department, Logistics Department, and the Security Office, visited construction sites on the Eastern and Northern parts of the campus and inspected their safety arrangements.

The delegation mainly inspected safety measures, the implementation of modern construction machinery, progress control, and fire safety. The construction project manager gave a detailed introduction to the construction progress and the safety system that has been put in place. The leaders also passed on their recommendations for improvement.

Chen Sikun stressed that the relevant departments and project managers should prioritize safety and safety awareness among workers. Precautions and management were other aspects that he said needed continual attention.
