On December 28, Sias International University's School of Literature held its 2018/19 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony for its international students. The Dean of the School of Literature, Sun Rujian, and Vice Dean, Wang Jing, were present for the graduation ceremony.

The ceremony opened with the playing of the national anthems of China and the USA. Sun Rujian congratulated the graduates and pointed out the cultural significance of the Central Plains of China. He said that it was the perfect place to learn about Chinese culture, as well as build bridges for the exchange of cultures. There were also speeches by Prof. Liu Jianping of the School of Literature, and a student representative from Malaysia.

The Graduation Ceremony included an awards ceremony for outstanding international students, as well as the winners of the first Sias Cup International Student Essay Competition. Sun Rujian issued certificates of completion to the students and formally announced the completion of the Fall Semester of the 2018/19 academic year at the School of Literature.
