A seminar on Innovation and Influential Brands in Education in the Central Plains was held on November 27 in Luoyang. Sias International University won the title of '2018 Leading Brand in the Education Industry', and the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, was awarded the honorary title of '2018's Leading Person of Innovation in the Education Industry in the Central Plains'. Executive President, Wang Jialin, attended the seminar and awards on behalf of Sias.

In a speech, Wang Jialin, spoke about the plans and instructions for the development and reform of education put forward by the National Education Conference in September, earlier this year. He said that government policy with regard to Socialist education with Chinese characteristics was to be fully implemented. According to the requirements of the National Plan for Medium and Long Term Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020), Sias International University had implemented a series of reforms with regard to its institutional mechanisms to promote innovation in education and teaching.

In terms of the nurturing of talent, Sias had continued to carry out its holistic and all-round educational model in accordance with national standards. Methods to improve the quality of graduates included the widespread implementation of IT-based education, intelligent classrooms, student-oriented educational models, and the implementation of educational communities based on the Residential College system. In terms of innovation and entrepreneurship, Sias had provided massive recruitment platforms for graduates, brought in several industrial and entrepreneurial experts for guidance, and ensured an internationalized outlook for students during their university education and also during their search for employment. With regard to internationalization, Sias had increased its international exchanges and cooperation across a variety of fields, thereby increasing its cultural integration and pool of resources as well.

Wang Jialin also invited the guests at the Conference to participate in the 2nd Joint Annual AUAP-IAUP International Conference to be held at Sias, and Sias' 20th Anniversary celebration, both of which will be held in May 2019.

The 2019 Central Plains' Education Conference (Innovation, Influences, and Brands) is an annual event jointly organized by the Sina Corp (Henan) and the Zhong Yuan News Network. Leaders and experts from over 60 universities gathered together to focus on the opportunities and challenges faced by development in higher-education institutions.
