On November 28, Sias International University held a meeting at the Auditorium in the Library to define the content of the volunteer work for the upcoming 20th Anniversary Celebrations in 2019. The lecture was organized by the 20th Anniversary Office, with Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede, and over 500 volunteers in attendance.

In a speech, Guo Xuede said that Sias' 20th anniversary celebrations would not be possible without the hard work of the volunteers. He encouraged them to have a clear mindset about the tasks that lie ahead, and hoped that it would help them in their growth and self-improvement.

After watching an invitational video for the 20th anniversary, produced by the Sias News Center, the Director of the 20th Anniversary Office, Qin Nan, spoke of her experience with regard to the work involved in Sias' 15th anniversary celebrations. She gave a detailed introduction to the themes, objectives, and the timeline and classification of activities that would show the history of the development and unique characteristics of Sias. After this, the Deputy Director of the 20th Anniversary Office, Zhang Jie, spoke in detail about the responsibilities of the volunteers and encouraged them to complete the required work with excellence.
