The annual meetings of Sias' Beijing Alumni Association and Shenzhen Alumni Association were held on December 22. Leaders from Sias' Administrative Office, Communist Party Committee, and the Recruitment & Employment Department, as well as Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, and President, Chen Sikun, were present at the meetings.

The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, sent his wishes in a video message to the two alumni associations and congratulated them for their successful work throughout the year. He also invited members of the alumni associations to visit Sias during the upcoming 20th anniversary celebrations in May 2019.

At the Annual Beijing Alumni Meeting, Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, spoke of the achievements of Sias in teaching and research in 2018. He encouraged the members to strive towards development and appointed a new President of the 3rd Branch of the Beijing Alumni Association. Zhou Chen, the President of the 2nd Branch spoke about the achievements and development plans of the Beijing Alumni Association in 2018. Zhou Chen was also appointed to be the Director of the Alumni Association by the Deputy Director of Sias' Administrative Office, Ding Gongci.

At the meeting, the Founder of Beijing Stars Wisdom Union, Zhu Tianshan, spoke about the development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Sun Wei spoke about the role of make-up in self-improvement and image-building. Zhao Chen, who is the Managing Partner of Plug and Play China, spoke about the development and growth of Plug and Play incubators.

At the Annual Shenzhen Alumni Meeting, Sias President, Chen Sikun, spoke about the achievements of Sias in 2018 and encouraged the alumni members to remember their dreams and pursue them. He then wished the alumni members success for the coming year. The Director of the Recruitment & Employment Department, Zhao Yujie, encouraged the members to grasp opportunities for employment growth and entrepreneurship and continue to contribute to Sias. The Director of the 20th Anniversary Office, Qin Nan, spoke about the activities scheduled for Sias' 20th Anniversary celebrations in May, 2019.

The President of the Shenzhen Alumni Association, Li Yongtao, spoke about the achievements and development plans of the Shenzhen Alumni Association in 2018. The Shenzhen Alumni Association also organized an e-commerce salon targeted at Sias graduates and students to help them with employment.
