The School of Literature hosted the International Culture Week's Asia Day performances on October 30. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, attended the event along with guests from Ma Chung University in Indonesia, Daffodil International University in Bangladesh, the affiliated Middle School of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), and Shih Chien University in Taiwan. Over 1,000 Chinese and foreign guests were present, including students and teachers from the various Schools and Residential Colleges at Sias.

Dr. Chen delivered a speech and thanked all the international students and their teachers from the School of Literature who worked hard to make 'Asia Day' possible. He said that he hoped that through Sias' International Culture Week, students would have an understanding of cultures around the world, thereby broadening their horizons and promoting the internationalization of the university.

The performances for Asia Day were diverse in content. International students from Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Malaysia, and Thailand performed traditional folk dances, with Chinese students and members of the Sias Art Troupe also performing a variety of traditional and mdoern dance and music.
