The Deputy Secretary-General of the Government of the Province of Jilin, Gao Cailin, visited Sias International University on November 2. High-level talks were held between the Founder and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, Executive President, Wang Jialin, and Gao Cailinand his delegation on the 15th floor of the Library. Heads of various departments at Sias including the Administration Office, Academic Affairs Office, and Office of International Affairs, were present at the meeting.

After Gao Cailin watched Sias' official promotional video, Dr. Shawn Chen spoke on behalf of Sias. He welcomed the arrival of the Secretary-General and introduced him to Sias' development history, educational philosophy, and the preparations for the 20th anniversary of the university. He spoke of the desire of Sias to cooperate with prestigious universities from other provinces in China, and learn their management methods and training through exchanges, shared resources, and cooperative development.

The Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Jilin Department of Education, Hu Renyou, and the Party Secretary of the Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages, Yang Fumin, had in-depth exchanges with the heads of various departments at Sias about education, future development plans, international exchanges and cooperation, and student training in private universities.

Executive President, Wang Jialin, spoke of the possibilities of cooperation between the Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages and Sias International University based on their educational philosophies, achievements, and similarities as private universities. The delegation was taken on a campus tour of Sias as well as a tour of Sias' International Culture Week festivities.

Deputy Secretary-General Gao Cailin and the delegation from Jilin attended Sias' 7th High Table Banquet later that day. They also attended Sias' International Culture Week Finale on November 3.
