On October 20, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, was one of the keynote speakers at the SoCal AI and Data Science Conference, organized by the International Data Engineering and Science Association (IDEAS). The Conference, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles, attracted nearly 2,000 guests from the elite in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science, and blockchain.

IDEAS invited more than 120 top scientists to the Conference to discuss the prospects of artificial intelligence and data science. Guests came from a variety of organizations and institutions, such as Microsoft, IBM, Uber, the University of Southern California (USC), and Salesforce. The Conference also covered themes such as Big Data, Data Analysis, Big Data in the Medical field, Financial Engineering, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Blockchain. It included keynote speeches, round-table discussions, company presentations, startup competitions, and meet-and-greet sessions.

As the Global Partner of Plug and Play, Dr. Chen was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the Conference. He spoke about the current trends of Artificial Intelligence (AI) development and the status quo of Investment in AI. He was subsequently interviewed by UCTV Blockchain Media.

Dr. Chen also had a meeting with executives from IDEAS about the introduction of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science training programs in universities in the United States, as well as relevant certification programs at Sias International University.
