Sias holds Flag Raising Ceremony for 34th Teachers Day

To honor the teachers, and to continue the culture of respecting teachers, Sias International University held a flag-raising ceremony for the 34th Teacher's Day on September 10. Sias President Chen Sikun, Executive President Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary Li Huafeng, and Assistant Principal Guo Xuede attended the ceremony. Leaders from the Party Committee, the Administrative Office, Academic Affairs Office, Communist Youth League, Human Resources Department, School Union, academic schools, and residential colleges were also present. Over 10,000 people were present at the ceremony, including teachers, military training officers and soldiers, students, and freshmen.


The ceremony began with the Honor Guard and the Chinese national anthem. Later, student representative, Qin Yixue, thanked all the teachers for their tireless efforts towards the growth and education of all the students.


At the end of the ceremony, Li Huafeng delivered a speech and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Party Committee to all teachers for their selfless devotion toward education and the development of the university. He said that the quality and professionalism of the teachers aided the culture of respect that existed at Sias. He said that he hoped that the rights and interests of teachers would continue to be upheld and that it would aid in the growth of Sias.
