The 11th International Forum on Huang Di Culture opened on March 28 at Sias International University. A large number of dignitaries visited Sias [see list below]. Sias was represented by the Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang; Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun; Vice President, Liu Shuqin; Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng; Assistant Principal, Sun Rujian; Proctor, Han Xiaoai; and Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede. University experts and scholars, department representatives, and more than 1,000 students were present. Over 30 reporters from various media outlets covered the event. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ma Zhifeng, Mayor of Xinzheng Municipal People's government.

The focus of this year's forum was to consolidate and improve the hometown of Huang Di as a global Chinese ancestral shrine, a spiritual home for the Chinese nation, both at home and abroad, and to serve the Chinese nation by providing solid cultural support to the next generation in China. This was the 9th time that Sias International University hosted the International Forum on Huang Di Culture.

The Mayor of Zhengzhou City, Cheng Zhimin, opened this year's Forum. This was followed by speeches by Executive Vice President of the Chinese Yan Huang Culture Research Association, Ren Dayuan; Vice President and Secretary-General of Chinese Pre-Qin History Society, Gong Changwei; and Former Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee, and Director of the Center of Marx Theory Research and Construction Advisory Committee, Xu Guangchun.

This was followed by lectures by other dignitaries, academics, and experts, on Han culture, the global impact of Han culture, globalization, and Chinese civilization.
