Sias University held an appraisal meeting for the Henan Higher Education Teaching Reform Research and Practice Project on the 13th of September. Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, attended the meeting along with project leaders and the head of the Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office.
After the leader of the Expert Review Group, Liu Liangjun, read out the appraisal procedures for the teaching reform project, the project leaders from Sias presented reports on the research, the process of solving problems, innovation points, achievements, shortcomings, and improvements.
The Expert Review Group approved the 5 projects that were subject to appraisal and affirmed the results of teaching reform at Sias under the provincial guidelines. They said that the 5 provincial education reform projects at Sias were closely linked to the teaching practices at colleges and universities and would help with exploring new problems, new methods, and new models concerning education and teaching. They said that the results achieved would have a certain promotional value. They also put forward specific and guided opinions and suggestions for existing problems regarding the direction of the project's research and development.
In closing, Zhao Yuxin reminded all responsible staff to focus on the application and implementation of the project in teaching practice. He said that all project teams should be problem-focused, consistently improve their research level and quality of teaching reform, and promote the popularization and application of the project results to improve the quality of talent training.
