The Leader of the Third Steering Group for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at Colleges and Universities in Xinzheng City, Xing Chaoyang, and the heads of the Xinzheng Health Commission, Market Supervision Bureau, and relevant management departments, visited Sias University on the 26th of September to supervise and inspect the preparations for the return of students to the university. Sias Vice President, Zheng Min, who is also the Executive Deputy Leader of the university's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group, accompanied the delegation. Members of Sias' Covid-19 Prevention and Control Office and the heads of the special Covid-19 Prevention and Control classes also took part in the inspection.
The Steering Group inspected cafeterias, the material reserve warehouse, and other key areas of prevention and control, and listened to reports on Covid-19 prevention and control, and the preparations for the opening of the university. They investigated the health information of teachers and students, Covid-19 prevention material reserves, and the measures for campus environment disinfection, and reviewed the data on Covid-19 prevention and control in detail. They also discussed the mechanism for prevention and control, emergency plans, the verification of information, and logistics support.
The Steering Group approved of the plans and implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control, and the preparations for the return of students. They also gave guidance on the implementation of disinfection procedures. They stressed the need to improve personnel access management and campus closure management after the return of students. They said that risks and countermeasures should be scientifically studied and judged for the complete and successful start of the autumn semester.
