An evaluation expert group from the Henan Department of Education, led by the Vice President of the Henan Institute of Engineering, Wang Shengjiao, the Director the Development Planning Department of Xuchang University, Wu Guoxi, the Director of the Development Planning Department of Huanghai University, Han Zhanbing, the Director of the Development Planning Department of Pingdingshan University, and long-term members of the Development Planning Department of Zhoukou Normal University, visited Sias University on the 26th of October. The group came to listen to reports, inspect, consult, and conduct the annual evaluation as a part of all applied technology undergraduate colleges and universities in Henan.

The evaluation report meeting was held in the Sias Library. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen; Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng; Acting President, Zhao Yuxin; Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Li Huafeng; Vice President, Xu Shengdao; Vice President, and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua; and Vice President, Zheng Min, attended the meeting. The heads of the Administration Office, Communist Party Committee, Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, and the Academic Schools attended the meeting as well.

At the meeting, Dr. Chen welcomed the expert group on behalf of Sias and spoke about the development and educational achievements of the university. He said that he hoped that the expert group would provide guidance for the continued growth of the university. Wang Shengjiao spoke about the purpose and significance of the evaluation and spoke of his appreciation of Sias' unique East-meets-West educational philosophy. Zhao Yuxin presented a detailed summary and report on the training of talent, teaching staff, academic course creation, and employment and entrepreneurship at the university from four aspects - the general situation at the university; work progress and effectiveness, the 14th 5-year plan, and the key work in the next phase of development.

After the meeting, the expert group conducted a field investigation on the creation of an intelligent campus and smart teaching environment at the university, which included the laboratory and training room of the Future Information Technology Institute (FITI), the iFLYTEK School of Artificial Intelligence, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship training building, and the Entrepreneurship Mall and Street. They were given an in-depth understanding of the creation of a "demonstration university" at Sias.

Finally, the experts from the evaluation team went through the relevant materials and held discussions with the heads of various departments, teachers' representatives, and representatives of the industry-education integration programs.
