A delegation from the Advisory Group of the Henan Communist Party Committee visited Sias University on November 4 to review and guide the Communist Party work at Sias. A research symposium was held in the Sias Library. The delegation from the Advisory Group of the Henan Communist Party Committee consisted of the Head of the Economic Group of the Advisory Group, and former Director of the Henan Development Research Center, Zhao Shuo; the Deputy Head of the Economic Group of the Advisory Group, and former Head of the Henan Academy of Social Sciences, Wang Yanwu; Researcher of the Advisory Group, and former Director of the Henan Civil Service Bureau; and the Secretary of the Advisory Group, Zhang Hongyan.

The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen; Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng; Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Li Huafeng; and Vice President, Xu Shengdao, attended the meeting. Representatives from Sias' Administration Office, Communist Party Committee, United Front Work Department, Propaganda Department, and School of Marxism, were also present.

Dr. Chen thanked the Henan Communist Party Committee for its long-term guidance and help towards the development of Sias. He spoke about Sias' educational philosophy, development history, management, and the residential college system. Ma Jiansheng presented a detailed report on the development of Communist Party education, the creation of grassroots Party organizations, ideological and political work, and the creation of the residential college system. The Advisory Group put forward their opinions on how to improve the work of the Communist Party under the guidance of the ideological and political work, with the study of Party history at its core.

The delegation from the Advisory Group of the Henan Communist Party Committee was taken on a tour of the Sias campus that included the Student Activity Center, CUBA Training Facility, Mingli Residential College, Huanyu Residential College, Library, and other teaching facilities, residential areas, and student Communist Party and Communist Youth League activity rooms. They were given a detailed view of the residential college system at Sias, as well as the grassroots Party organizations on campus.
