A delegation from Hewlett Packard (China) visited Sias University on December 9. The delegation included the General Manager of China's Customer Support Service Department at Hewlett Packard (China), Rong Guangyu. The visit was held to make preparations for the "Sias FITI - Hewlett Packard (HP) Workshop" and for exchanges and discussions concerning Sias' integration of industry and education, and university-enterprise cooperation. Sias Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, attended a symposium with the delegation and the heads of the Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, the School of Business, and the Future Information Technology Institute (FITI).

At the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions and exchanges. Rong Guangyu said that Hewlett Packard will use the "Sias FITI - HP Workshop" as a platform for ideas and strategic cooperation with the university. He said that he hoped that both sides would continue to explore various forms of university-enterprise cooperation.

At the meeting, the Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias University, Dr. Shawn Chen, met with the delegation from Hewlett Packard (China), and spoke about the university's development process and history. He said that he hoped that both sides could tap their potential and strengthen cooperation through in-depth exchanges.
