The Zhengzhou regional University Informatization Construction and Exchange Seminar was held on December 1. The event was sponsored by Sias University and GiLight Education. First-Class Researcher at the Science, Technology & Information Department of the Henan Department of Education, Shi Xiaochun, Deputy Director of the Science, Technology & Information Department of the Henan Department of Education, Ma Shikui, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias University, Dr. Shawn Chen, and Sias Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, attended the seminar. The heads of informatization construction departments from 15 universities in Zhengzhou were also present.

Dr. Chen welcomed the guests and leaders on behalf of Sias. He said that he hoped that through this conference, attendees would be able to share their experience and promote the development of informatization in colleges and universities.

Li Xia, a consultant at Sias' Informatization Construction and Management Office, made a presentation titled, "Enabling the Development of a Smart Campus", and introduced Sias' smart teaching, data governance, IOT campus, online business closed-loop management in detail. The Director of the Modern Educational Technology Center at the Zhengzhou Urban Construction Vocational College, Shi Pengyao, and the Chairman of GiLight Education, Guo Tao, spoke about the construction and exploration of smart campuses in Zhengzhou, and how to quickly build a smart and effective campus system, respectively.

The guests were then given a detailed introduction and understanding of Sias' smart integration portal, the "I SIAS" application, the big data management platform, the teachers' and students' personal data center, the smart campus exhibition hall, the holographic MR (Mixed Reality) smart classroom, and other information application systems and informatization construction achievements. Representatives from the Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, the Henan University of Technology, and the Zhongyuan Institute of Technology delivered speeches and shared their experience in the field of informatization construction.

Shi Xiaochun delivered the closing speech. She spoke highly of Sias' informatization work and results at Sias. She said that the informatization work in colleges and universities was a priority. University leaders, she said, should fully understand the importance of informatization construction, and colleges and universities should improve their orientations and positions to promote the mutual development of informatization construction.
