The Intelligent Teaching Seminar for General Undergraduate Colleges and Universities in Henan was held at the Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology on December 18. The event was sponsored by the Henan Department of Education and the Henan Association of Higher Education, and was organized by the Intelligent Teaching Management Service Center for Henan Colleges and Universities and the Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology. Sias Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, attended the seminar.

It was announced that after several rounds of evaluation, 13 colleges and universities from Henan were designated 'Intelligent Teaching Demonstration Schools'. Sias University was the only private undergraduate university to be approved.

Zhao Yuxin delivered a speech on behalf of Sias on the exploration and practice of intelligent teaching at Sias University, that showed the promotion of "intelligent teaching" and the main planning measures over the course of the coming three years. He said that Sias focused on the requirements of intelligent teaching as a key part of the creation of academic courses, and the training of talent as part of building a diversified and sustainable intelligent teaching system. He said that Sias had carried out intelligent teaching from seven aspects - top-level architecture design, the reconstruction of the teaching environment, the innovation of teaching methods, the construction of teaching data, innovation of resource construction, big data evaluation, and the nurturing of students' innovative ability.

Zhao Yuxin said that Sias would use this opportunity and approval to create a structurally optimized, intensive, efficient, safe, and reliable intelligent teaching system by the end of 2023. He said that the new model will lead to intelligent classrooms, intelligent learning, intelligent evaluation, intelligent management, and intelligent service.
