For the improvement of the quality and efficiency of employment and entrepreneurship, to innovate the various avenues of employment services, and to build an interactive platform for the employment of the graduates of the class of 2022, Sias University held the first live broadcast job activity on December 28 at its School of Journalism's studio. The live event was organized in cooperation with the Henan Broadcasting System and under the guidance of the Henan Department of Education, the Henan Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Undergraduate Employment Committee of the College Graduates Employment Association.

The Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Undergraduate Employment Committee of the College Graduates Employment Association, and Vice President of the Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Su Dongmin, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Undergraduate Employment Committee of the College Graduates Employment Association, and Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association at Nanyang Normal University, Yang Bingqun, and Sias Vice President, Zheng Min, attended the live broadcast, along with leaders from the Zhengzhou University of Economics and Business, and the Henan Information and Statistics Vocational College. The live broadcast was hosted by Cui Ling, a host from the Rule of Law Channel of the Henan Radio & Television Station, and the Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias University, Dr. Shawn Chen.

In the beginning, Su Dongmin elaborated on the latest policies on employment and entrepreneurship of university graduates and put forward suggestions for diversified measures to promote the high-quality employment of graduates. He pointed out that the employment of university graduates was a top priority, and this live broadcast job activity was an innovative model for the employment of university graduates in the post-pandemic era. He said that it was the first time that any university or college in Henan was using a live broadcast to carry out employment recruitment. He concluded by saying that it was a new model worthy of note and promotion by other colleges and universities.

Dr. Shawn Chen thanked the student and teacher representatives participating in the live broadcast and said that in keeping with the requirements for the prevention and control of Covid-19, it was important to not only protect the physical and mental health and employment rights of graduates but also to serve and support graduates with choosing jobs. He said that this event would help mobilize the 2022 Sias graduates to use this opportunity to change their concepts of employment, emphasizing job searching and selection with the right attitude and spirit.

During the live broadcast, Dr. Chen and Su Dongmin spoke about employment phenomena such as the slow job market and the lack of employment work and support at colleges and universities.

Dr. Chen then introduced 6 student representatives from Sias to potential employers. Representatives from Zhengda Group, Muyuan Food, Lianlian Tours, Henan Xiangxiangrong Media Group, Zhengzhou Huiji District Foreign Language Middle School, and Anyang Shengma Hospital, interacted with the students and introduced their companies' profiles, recruitment positions, salaries, and other information. The students were able to negotiate and interact with the recruiters in real time.

Dr. Chen said that this live broadcast was the beginning of Sias' innovative employment model. The university will promote and continue to carry out more live broadcast activities. He said that the Employment and Entrepreneurship Department at Sias should continue to promote a policy that stabilizes employment and accurately meets the needs of employers through the guidance and the improvement of competitiveness of the graduates' employability in a holistic and multi-faceted manner.
