Sias University held an online signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Gottifredo Association on December 29. The signatories were the President of the Gottifredo Association, Tarcisio Tarquini, the Manager of the Io Studio Italiano, Rosella Sgambato, and Sias Acting President, Zhao Yuxin. The Dean of Sias' School of International Education, Chen Jiaojiao, also attended the ceremony.

Zhao Yuxin said that since the time Sias University was founded, it had prioritized international cooperation and remained committed to introducing world-class educational resources to its students. This highlighted Sias' combination of Chinese and Western education through the international student exchanges and international cooperation concerning teachers. The signing of this strategic cooperation framework agreement, he said, would promote cooperation and cultural and educational exchanges between the two sides.

Tarcisio Tarquini said that he was confident about the cooperation between the Gottifredo Association and Sias University. He said that the Gottifredo Association was committed to promoting and developing Sino-Italian cultural and educational exchanges. The association and its five affiliated universities in Italy have been widely recognized by Chinese students studying in Italy. He said that he hoped that the signing of the agreement would lead to increased cooperation between Chinese and Italian universities.

Zhao Yuxin and Tarcisio Tarquini signed the agreement as representatives of Sias University and the Gottifredo Association, respectively. The agreement focuses on student exchanges, faculty exchanges, sharing of educational resources, and joint research projects.

The Gottifredo Association (Associazione Gottifredo) was founded in 2014 by a group of teachers, musicians, artists, and professionals to promote culture and all-round education. Over the years, the Gottifredo Association has promoted the restoration of works of art, exhibitions, innovative projects, and cultural events. In 2015, it established the Io Studio Italiano, which offers high-level training to international students interested in continuing their studies in Italian universities and institutes of higher artistic and musical training.
