On February 1, 2022, the first day of the Chinese (Lunar) new year, Sias Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, led a team to meet with workers who were working at Sias through the holiday.

Accompanied by the heads of the Administration Office, Academic Affairs Office, the Security Office, the Infrastructure Office, and the Logistics Department, Zhao Yuxin visited the Security Room at the East Gate, classrooms, the Sias Hotel, the School of International Education (SIE), Boya Residential College, the Logistics Department office, and Peter Hall - the foreign faculty residential building. He met with staff and thanked them on behalf of the university for their sacrifice and work during the Spring Festival. He reminded them to implement the requirements of Covid-19 prevention and control, and ensure the safety and stability of the university campus.
