Sias leaders welcome Returning Staff for Spring Semester

On February 16, the first day of the Spring Semester, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, Vice President, and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua, and other university leaders visited several administrative departments and academic schools to welcome the teaching staff and encourage them for the upcoming semester. The leaders included those from the Administration Office, Communist Party Committee, the Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, the Academic Affairs Office, the Human Resources Department, the Teacher Development Center, and the Trade Union.


During the visit, the university leaders met with staff and thanked them for the achievements made by Sias in 2021. They encouraged the departments to ensure the success of the preparations for the Spring Semester, including the teaching plans and the promotion of undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation.


The university leaders said that campus safety is very important and Covid-19 prevention and control measures were the primary tasks concerning the re-opening of the university. All departments were to focus on personnel information screening, tracking, and health status screening of teachers and students, through scanning codes on campus, taking body temperatures, and ensuring the smooth and successful start of the Spring Semester. After the university is opened, departments are to focus on the management of cafeterias, overall campus health, and safety precautions.
