Sias participates in 2022 National Social Science Fund Project Training Conference

Sias University selected a team of 6 people to apply for the National Social Science Fund Project, led by Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, and participate in the online guidance and training meeting on high-end project applications. The activity was held to improve the scientific research and academic level of teachers and improve the feasibility and scientific selection of topics and research content in the National Social Science Fund Project, from February 10 to 13.


At the meeting, more than 10 experts who have been engaged in the evaluation of National Social Science Projects were present. They were from Tsinghua University, the China University of Mining and Technology, Chongqing University, the National Institute of Educational Sciences from the Ministry of Education, and the Academy of Military Sciences, among others. These experts brought different perspectives to project evaluation procedures, topic selection, background research and significance, research reviews, research methods, and innovation, which were all explained in depth. At the same time, expert tutors elaborated on cases based on their winning projects so that the participating teachers could understand and master their methods and skills.


The National Social Science Fund Project is the highest level for social science research projects in China and is an important index to evaluate the scientific research level of a college or university. The participants from Sias said that the training meeting had built a good learning platform for the university's project applicants, and had solved various problems that they had encountered in the application process for National Social Science Fund Projects. They said that the meeting had also stimulated enthusiasm for academic research and improved their scientific research ability. Sias hopes that this will provide accurate guidance, management, and service to teachers so that they can improve the scientific research level of the university.
