Sias University welcomed the first batch of returning students for the 2021/22 spring semester on February 21. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Li Huafeng, and Vice President, Zheng Min, led the heads of the Administration Office, Communist Party Committee, Academic Affairs Office, the Security Office, and Logistics Department, in overseeing the return of the students.
Members of the Sias leadership visited the university's East Gate and North Gate to oversee the entry of students, luggage disinfection, body temperature checks, health code inspections, and emergency procedures. The leaders also led a team to inspect the student dormitories and cafeterias to ensure that there were no gaps in the safety procedures for teachers and students.
The leaders approved of the measures taken by the various departments to welcome students back and emphasized the importance of working together and implementing the staggered return of students in batches. They also stressed the importance of standardized Covid-19 prevention and control measures and the daily management of students' activities.
