Sias Leaders meet with Covid-19 Student Volunteers

On April 7, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Li Huafeng, and Vice President, Zheng Min, led a team of leaders from Sias University's Covid-19 prevention and control leading group to meet with the university's Covid-19 front-line student volunteers. The leaders distributed masks, disinfectant wipes, and food to the students.


On behalf of the university, Ma Jiansheng thanked the volunteers for their work and contributions to the safety of the campus. He inquired about each volunteer's food, and rest, and encouraged them to look after their own health, studies, and rest. He said that the service of the volunteers was a great responsibility and instructed the Sias Communist Youth League to ensure that the volunteers will be supported in every way possible.


Li Huafeng thanked the volunteers for their work with nucleic acid testing, cafeteria supervision, and reminding students to remain vigilant and careful. He encouraged them to remain strong and resolute in their work and to stay united in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.


Zheng Min spoke to the volunteer students about their duty rotation, the logistical support they received, and the difficulties they faced. She praised them for their selflessness and perseverance. She said that she hoped that the volunteers would take measures to prevent heat strokes and stay healthy.


The volunteers thanked the leaders for their concern and reiterated their desire to help the university combat the Covid-19 pandemic in accordance with the prevention and control requirements.
