The Head of the First Steering Group of Zhengzhou City's Covid-19 Prevention & Control Headquarters, Liang Xiaodong, visited Sias University on May 3 to supervise and investigate the university's Covid-19 prevention and control work. The Director of the Xinzheng Education Bureau, Liu Xuemin, the Chairman of the Trade Union at the Xinzheng Education Bureau, Qin Peiyuan, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Sias Vice President, Zheng Min, and the Director of the Administration Office, Liang Dong, accompanied Liang Xiaodong during his visit.

The steering group visited Sias University's Covid-19 Prevention & Control Command Center, as well as cafeterias and other key places. They carefully reviewed the health protocols for teachers and students, the university's closed-loop management work plans, the emergency briefings, and conducted a thorough investigation into Sias' Covid-19 prevention and control measures, the nucleic acid testing of various groups, health monitoring of teachers and students, vaccination, and the disinfection and sterilization of deliveries to the university campus. The group gave guidance concerning certain aspects of Sias' Covid-19 prevention and control measures.

The steering group spoke positively of Sias' work and stressed the need for a continued effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, not just for the physical well-being of the teachers and students, but also for their mental health and the maintenance of normalcy with regard to classes and teaching.
