Sias University held the 2022 Outstanding Graduates’ Symposium on May 24 at the banquet hall of the Administration Building. The Founder, and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Li Huafeng, and Vice President, Zheng Min, attended the symposium. Heads of administrative departments and 30 representatives of the outstanding graduates were also present.
The outstanding graduates shared their experiences concerning the postgraduate entrance examination, entrepreneurship, employment, and the Covid-19 pandemic, and thanked the university for its education and resources over the past four years. They also put forward suggestions concerning academics, majors, teachers, integration of industry and education, and inter-departmental coordination.
Dr. Chen thanked the students for their suggestions and said that Sias had always listened to its students' opinions and suggestions in the process of development. He said that he hoped that the graduates would represent Sias well in the future.
The university leaders also spoke with the graduates. They noted down the issues raised by the students and charged the relevant university departments to rectify the issues raised.
At the end of the symposium, the President of the Sias University Student Union, Wang Ning, led the representatives of the outstanding graduates in an oath.
