On May 29, at the Central Regionals of the 13th China University Students' Service Outsourcing Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition, the entries from Sias University's School of Electronics & Information Engineering, organized by the Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, won two third prizes. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Wuxi Municipal People's Government.

It is the first time that Sias has put together a team to participate in the Service Outsourcing Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition. Sias' Employment & Entrepreneurship Department was responsible for the organization, implementation, and coordination. The two projects, titled 'Bright Starting Point' and 'DT01', were tutored by the School of Electronics & Information Engineering and were categorized as "design and development of the examination system based on teaching and examination separation". Both projects won third prizes at the Central Regional Competition.

Sias promotes teaching, research, innovation, and reform through competition and aims to improve students' professionalism, adaptability, and innovative thinking through innovative training.

The China University Students' Service Outsourcing Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is designated a National University Student Competition. It focuses on service outsourcing and innovation and entrepreneurship by strengthening the interaction between industry and education, guiding students to focus on modern service industries, and attracting enterprises to focus on innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It also encourages the reform of higher education to meet the development needs of strategic emerging industries, promote cooperation and the exchange of talent, and meet the employment and entrepreneurial needs of university students.
