In order to further consolidate existing Sino-US educational cooperative exchanges and to expand into more projects of cooperation, from May 29th to June 10th, the delegation of our school went to the United States to participate in the 75th annual meeting and exhibition of the American Association of International Educators (NAFSA). As one of the largest international education conferences in the world, this year's conferenced, themed "Inspiring a More Inclusive Future," attracted nearly 10,000 educators from more than 100 countries around the world. During the exhibition, our school attracted many delegates. More than 30 universities from the United States, Canada, Britain, France, Germay, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and others all expressed interest in future negotiation and cooperation.
After the NAFSA annual meeting, our delegation visited Southern Illinois University, Saint Louis University, University of California, Riverside, California Baptist University, California State University, West Los Angeles University, University of Nevada and others to discuss further cooperation and exchange programs.
During the visit to the University of Nevada, the parties reached a cooperation intention on building the SIAS Honors School program, with leaders from the University of Nevada set to visit SIAS in September of this year. During the visit to West Los Angeles University, the two parties also reached a cooperative consensus on building the Los Angeles branch of our school.
This visit to the United States has further enhanced the international reputation of our school, expanded the breadth and depth of our foreign partnerships, and has a positive role in promoting Sino-U.S. educational exchanges and cooperation.
