Sias Leaders Visit and Extend Greetings to Faculty Returning for the New Semester

On the morning of February 10, as the new semester dawned, the leadership of Sias University took the initiative to organize multiple teams to conduct a comprehensive tour of the entire campus. As they traversed every nook and cranny of the campus, Sias leaders conveyed their Spring Festival greetings, imbued with heartfelt blessings for the new semester, to the extensive faculty and staff. Representatives of CPC Committee and Presidential Office, Academic Affairs Office, Students Affairs Office, Security and Safety Office, Logistics Service Center and other departments accompanied the visits.

At 8:30 a.m., the school leaders set out in three groups. President of Sias University visited administrative units and ongoing construction sites across the campus. Starting from the administration building, the President made stops at the east gate, the campus clinic, the dining hall, the student activity center, the training center, Building 17, and the north gate. At each location, the President engaged in detailed discussions with department heads and staff, inquiring about their current work progress and arrangements for the upcoming semester.

Zhao Yuxin, Vice President, Secretary of the CPC Sias Commission for Discipline Inspection, led a visit to the teaching units, covering more than ten professional schools, including the School of Business, the School of Literature and Law, the School of Physical Education, and functional departments of Sias Library. During the visit, he focused on checking the operation of laboratory equipment and classroom environment, emphasizing the need for scientific deployment of teaching resources to ensure the efficient use of teachers and students.

Professor Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University, led a team to visit residential colleges, including Zhishan Residential College, Siqi Residential College, Boya Residential College, and others. During the visit, she inspected dormitory hygiene, safety facilities, and the management of public areas. At each location, she engaged in conversations with faculty and staff, inquiring about their work and living conditions for the new semester.

During this visit, the school leaders not only conveyed their New Year blessings but also conducted a thorough inspection of the preparations for the upcoming semester across all units. This was to ensure that all aspects of the new semester’s work would proceed smoothly. The leaders emphasized that all departments should attach great importance to the work of the new semester to ensure that the teaching process is in order and logistical support is in place to create a good learning and living environment for all teachers and students.
