Sias University Leaders Conducted Teaching Inspection at the Beginning of Spring Semester for 2024-2025 Academic Year

To guarantee the smooth and orderly progression of teaching activities in the new semester, on the morning of February 17, marking the first day of the spring semester for the 2024-2025 academic year, all leaders of Sias, accompanied by representatives from pertinent functional departments, were divided into six inspection teams. These teams conducted a thorough inspection of teaching preparations across the entire school, ensuring that the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year would commence on a solid foundation.

The inspection employed a three-tiered mechanism encompassing "school, college, and department (office)" to guarantee the comprehensiveness and thoroughness of the process. During the inspection, the teams delved into every teaching venue, conducting a meticulous and comprehensive review of various aspects including teaching environment preparation, teaching facility functionality, teaching schedule management, teacher instructional performance, students' learning engagement, and more across all teaching units.

During the inspection, Sias school leaders stressed the importance of focusing on enhancing classroom teaching quality, boosting classroom appeal, sparking students' interest in learning, refining discipline-specific characteristics, fostering unique specialties, and showcasing the operational characteristics and achievements in talent cultivation for the new semester.

Based on the comprehensive inspection conducted on the first day of the semester, all teaching units demonstrated commendable teaching preparations. Teaching equipment was functioning normally, teachers and students were in excellent spirits, students exhibited enthusiasm for learning, teacher-student interaction was positive, educational and teaching activities were well-organized, and overall operations were smooth and orderly.

A new semester, a fresh start. In the week ahead, the Academic Affairs Office and all professional schools will endeavor to further refine their management. They will conduct comprehensive and thorough daily teaching inspections, promptly monitor teaching dynamics, and persist in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. These efforts aim to ensure the continuous enhancement and optimization of teaching endeavors throughout the new semester.

Zhao Yuxin, Vice President and Secretary of the CPC Sias Commission for Discipline Inspection, led a team to inspect the teaching work at the beginning of the spring semester.

Yuan Guanglin, Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, led a team to inspect the teaching work at the beginning of the spring semester.

Professor Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University, led a team to inspect the teaching work at the beginning of the spring semester.
