On February 25, Ms. Claire Mcintyre, Head of International, Arts University Bournemouth, led her delegation to visit Sias University. They were warmly received and had a cordial meeting with Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, as well as Prof. Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University. Representatives from Sias Office of International Affairs accompanied the participants.

During the meeting, Dr. Chen extended his heartfelt welcome to Ms. Claire Mcintyre and her delegation, and invited Arts University Bournemouth to take part in the 60th Anniversary Conference and Mid-term Meeting of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), scheduled to take place from October 13 to 15, 2025.

Prof. Lucy Lu engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the advancement of collaborative efforts between the two institutions, focusing on faculty and student exchange programs, online cooperation initiatives, and cross-cultural communication projects. She also emphasized the innovative applications of AI technology in teaching and learning environments. Meanwhile, Yue Junliang, Director of Sias Office of International Affairs, provided a comprehensive overview of Sias international cooperative education and its level of internationalization. Furthermore, he explored the potential feasibility of enabling Sias students to pursue master's degrees at Arts University Bournemouth in the future.

Ms. Claire Mcintyre spoke highly of the international atmosphere and philosophy of Sias. She then proceeded to share insights about the student body at Arts University Bournemouth, the current landscape of inter-university exchanges, and the outcomes of existing collaborations. She hoped that the two sides could further explore and deepen cooperation to achieve substantive results.

Ultimately, Sias University and Arts University Bournemouth officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant milestone in our collaborative journey. To celebrate this occasion, both parties exchanged gifts to demonstrate their appreciation and friendship.
