The first lesson of a new semester marks the starting point of teaching activities and serves as the first checkpoint for ensuring teaching quality. It is essential to carefully manage every stage of teaching to achieve a strong and high-quality start.”

To ensure that teaching activities in the new semester are carried out in a standardized, orderly, and efficient manner, on March 2 —the first day of the new semester—leaders of Sias University formed four inspection groups to conduct comprehensive teaching inspections at the beginning of the term. Focusing on the “first lesson of the semester,” they went deep into classrooms to thoroughly review teaching order, discipline, and overall instructional operations, ensuring a smooth and successful start to the new academic term.

This inspection adopted a three-tier coordinated system involving the university, schools (departments), and teaching units (sections), with responsibilities clearly assigned at each level. The inspection primarily focused on teaching preparedness and classroom instruction.

During the process, the leadership teams visited teaching buildings and laboratory training facilities through on-site observations, classroom visits, and real-time lecture monitoring. They carefully examined classroom order, instructors’ teaching performance, student attendance, and engagement, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the teaching situation at the start of the semester.

According to the inspection results, teaching operations across SIAS on the first day of the semester were well-organized and running smoothly. All schools and departments were well-prepared, and teaching support measures were effectively implemented. The teaching environment was clean and well-maintained, and instructional equipment functioned reliably. Instructors demonstrated thorough preparation and strong teaching performance, while students showed high attendance and attentiveness, contributing to an active and engaging classroom atmosphere.

In addition, the integration of AI technologies into teaching demonstrated positive outcomes, enriching instructional methods and promoting diversified learning experiences, reflecting an excellent teaching and learning environment across SIAS.
