On February 17 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), at a time traditionally reserved for family reunions, Wu Hua, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of the university, led a team to carry out Spring Festival visits. On behalf of the university, they extended heartfelt holiday greetings and New Year wishes to faculty and staff who remained at their posts.

Officials from the Party and Government Office, Student Affairs Office, International Exchange Office, Security Department, and Logistics Service Center accompanied the visit.

The university leadership team visited several key locations in succession, including the international student dormitories, the student activity center, the logistics service center, the foreign teachers’ residence, and the campus duty office, where they held warm and friendly conversations with staff on duty.

At each stop, the leaders made detailed inquiries about duty schedules, the availability of essential supplies, and campus safety and security measures. They also took time to understand staff members’ work routines and daily needs. The leadership expressed sincere gratitude and deep respect for those who remained at their posts, ensuring the smooth operation of all campus activities during the holiday period.

Spring Festival is a time for family reunions. Your dedication has ensured a safe and orderly campus—thank you for your hard work!” Wu Hua repeatedly reminded staff during the visit to take good care of themselves while fulfilling their duties, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and remember that the university will always be their strongest support. He also presented holiday care packages to those on duty.

He encouraged everyone to carry forward their strong work ethic in the new year, approach their responsibilities with enthusiasm and a practical mindset, and contribute to building a solid foundation for the university’s high-quality development.

Heartfelt words of care and thoughtful holiday gifts brought warmth and encouragement to staff working on the front lines. Many expressed their sincere gratitude for the university’s concern and support, stating that they would keep these expectations in mind, remain committed to their duties, and do their utmost to ensure all support services run smoothly during the Spring Festival. Through concrete actions, they will safeguard campus safety and stability and help ensure a strong start to the new semester.
